Vegan American pancakes with banana

Ingredients

  • 1 banana mashed
  • 250 ml oat milk
  • 200 g of wheat flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar / vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp of ground cardemom
  • pinch of salt
  • oil for frying

Choice of toppings:

  • maple syrup
  • berries
  • fruit
  • coconut flakes
  • nuts and seed

Instructions

In a bowl, mash a banana and then mix in all the dry ingredients. Then add the oat milk and try not to over mix the batter. Heat up a frying pan to medium high heat. Add oil to the pan and 1 heaping tablespoon of the pancake batter for each pancake. Fry the pancakes fro 2 minutes or when bubbles start to form on the top and you can see some browning on the bottom. The the pancake form 1 minute on the other side.

Serve the pancakes warm with you favorite toppings!
